Festival d’Art Pyrotechnique – And the Winner is…

Work beckoned for Dave, so we were not able to attend the final soirée of the Cannes Festival d’Art Pyrotechnique last night.  Fortunately, we got a full report from our friend, Monique, who was once again correct in predicting the winner of “La Vestale d’Or”.  It was France who won first place with their entry of “Féérie”, which took place last week.  Dave and I favored Portugal, who came in second to win “La Vestale d’Argent”.  France had a second entry, which took place last night with the following program:
