Pizza & Pyromélodique was the plan for tonight’s continuation of the Fireworks Festival in Cannes. Monique, Dave, and I drove to Cannes and parked in our regular secret spot, then we hiked over to the Old Port for dinner at our regular (not so secret ) pizza place, La Pizza, where we stood in line until it was our turn to be seated on the terrace. It seems like the Fireworks Festival is getting more popular each week, with more traffic and a longer line at La Pizza. But, we made it to Plage Royale in time to get beach chairs in the front row, facing the sea and the fireworks. Tonight it was Spain who competed. Afterwards, all three of us decided that it was still Portugal who was in the lead for “La Vestale d’Or”. Only time will tell. Tonight’s program was as follows:
Pirotecnia Igual (Espagne)
”Etoiles sur la mer"
