This time we took advantage of one of the special “Menu Feu d’Artifice” offers made by many of the beach restaurants on competition nights, and had dinner last night on the Croisette at Plage le Goëland to watch the feu d’artifice competition. Once a week for about six weeks in the summer, Cannes has a fireworks competition between different countries. The fireworks are choreographed to music on the Bay of Cannes at 10:00pm, and lasts about half an hour. Last year we saw Argentina one week and Italy another week. This time it was Great Britain, and their theme was “Fantastic Fireworks”.
I found your blog while looking for fireworks festivals.
"Petanque and Pastis" I love the name!
Bonne continuation!
