About Pétanque & Pastis

Pétanque & Pastis are just two of the kazillions of things that we love here in the south of France, and seem representative of the lifestyle that we have been drawn to for some years.

After spending most of our vacation time in different parts of France for many years, we finally took the big step of buying an apartment on the Côte d’Azur in January of 2003.  After the renovation was complete, we were lucky enough to work out a telecommute situation with Dave’s job, which enabled us to live in our apartment for a whole year.  When the year was up, we returned to our home in the San Francisco Bay Area, not knowing when we would be able to return to our apartment in Antibes.  After a few months, Dave was able to work out another arrangement with his company so that we will now spend most of the year in France and just a little bit of time in California.  So, we’ll see how this works out.
